Our chef Jack Marsh and his team excel in offering uncomplicated, well prepared good food, using top quality fresh local produce, some of which is grown on the estate in the surrounding fields or in our walled garden. Our two hundred year Franco-Scottish heritage is obvious, and we are proud of it. We have our all year long signature dishes like our black pudding Scotch eggs, our Meikleour Scallop and shrimp salad and our simply delicious char-grilled steaks. Although we are very lucky to have direct access to superb meat and venison we also offer exciting vegetarian options incorporating wild mushrooms, garden grown vegetables or local cheeses. Children have their own dedicated menu: proper size and proper food, simple and appetising. We also offer a light lunch/snack menu if all you need is a wholesome tasty quick bit.
