Our 11 bedroom exude comfort and elegant simplicity: superb mattresses, lovely crisp linen and beautiful marble bathrooms.
Of course they also have TVs, luxurious hypoallergenic bedding, Arran Aromatics toiletries, tea & coffee facilities and the unmistakable sherry decanter.
All our bedrooms are individually decorated by us, pairing old treasure and new find. All prices include a hearty breakfast of your choice. If you like a bit more space or are travelling with friends, why not consider our muchpraisdd serviced cottages?
Cancelation policy: up to 48h before arrival free cancellation. Credit card details required to secure your booking. If cancellation within the 48h window the full amount will be charged.
Baby cots are available to borrow free of charge, but kindly bring your baby bedding as it is a very personal choice (blankets, sleeping bag).
Dogs: 4 legged friends are welcome in downstairs bedrooms (with wooden floor) and dog beds are available on request. Dogs are welcome throughout the hotel (provided they are comfortable in a social environment) but please note that dogs MUST NOT be left alone in rooms. maximum 2 dogs per accommodation, for large dogs we strongly recommend a 1 bed cottage.
Country Life: This is a lovely spot for alfresco meals. The cottages are particurlary pleasant to stay in. Service is friendly and thoughtful.

The 4 hotel Walled Garden cottages a short drive or walk (900m) from the main hotel, are nestled along the old Victorian walled garden of the stately Meikleour House. Bright and contemporary with quirky original features, fully equipped they are perfect for sporting parties, families or couples with pets. Minimum 2 night stay. Breakfast at the main hotel is included. We also have a 3 bedroom cottage within Meikleour village, 100m away from the hotel.
